For quite a while family and friends have been suggesting that I start a blog. I really love cooking and making people happy with healthy, delicious food. I’m omnivorous and adore barbeque, all types of ethnic cooking, preserving food and learning all I can through reading and taking classes. I’m frequently asked for recipes, too!
A few days ago I posted on Facebook that I’d put up 13 half-pints of Cardamom Black Plum Jam, and Megan Spackman, a friend of my daughter’s since middle school, asked me for the recipe. So Megan, even though we haven’t seen each other in years and you live far away, yours were the final push to get me blogging!
